The Lucy Pet Foundation

Two of the biggest problems in the United States involving pets are homelessness and overpopulation. Both of which can be solved through  spay and neuter surgeries.  However, many owners are unable to afford the surgeries for their companions. That's where the Lucy Pet Foundation comes in. The goal of the Lucy Pet Foundation is to offer free/low-cost spay and neuter surgeries as well as adoptions.

Today, over 80,000 dogs and cats are euthanized EVERY WEEK in U.S. shelters.
A note from Founder Joey Herrick regarding pet overpopulation:

"I promised Barry that I was going to come up with a program that would not only help the problem in his area, but all around the country. That’s why the “Lucy Pet Foundation” was created."

Why do we love the Lucy Pet Foundation so much?
There are so many reasons but our top reasons include the following:
o The goal of the Lucy Foundation is to provide Free and Low Cost Mobile Spay & Neuter Clinics across the country (eventually all free!)
o Education about pet overpopulation for not only adults but kids as well
o Lucy Pet Foundation provides grooming and training of shelter pets to make them more adoptable
o Lucy Pet Foundation is working to enact legislation benefitting pets, including banning gas
chambers at shelter
