The Bluegrass Classic and a New Title!

This weekend Dobby and I, along with several members of our team, competed at the Bluegrass Classic AKC show at the Kentucky Horse Park. It's a wonderful five day show in the Alltech Arena that takes place every Labor Day Weekend.
On Saturday our drill team performed the Christmas in July routine just before groups started. We always enjoy performing at the show because the spectators truly enjoy the performance and most understand the difficulty of the routine. This was actually one of the best performances the team has put on since we started with this routine. Every handler and dog team was smiling and it showed!
On Sunday Dobby and I only showed in Rally Novice A. We earned our second leg of our RN title with a score of 95 and third place. Every member of our team that competed in rally that day earned their first legs!
Today we competed in Rally Novice A and Novice A Obedience. Dobby earned his last leg of his RN! We got our title with a score of 98 and a second place. Our team took first through fourth and scores ranged from 99-94. The judge said that this was the highest scoring novice class she had ever judged!
In obedience we were NQ'd in the off lead heeling pattern and the stand for exam. Dobby has never had a problem with the stand but he was freaked out by the ring steward the entire time and whined throughout the course. Guess we need to work with more strange men outside/inside the ring!
Other pictures from the weekend:
Meet Emmett, the amazing Pomeranian owned by one of our new trainers! He got High in Trial this weekend. It's great to watch him work with her.
Corrie &Bella and Rachel & Kylie both earned their first legs in Beginner Novice Obedience. Rachel and Kylie also earned their second leg today!
