A Barkery Easter

One again our friends at the Bluegrass Barkery had a great party for dogs and their humans. This time it was an Easter Egg Hunt and Blessing of the Animals. Before we arrived the workers hid a bunch of eggs filled with dog treats for the pups to find.

These two were ready to party. Dobby had a bowtie with purple bunnies on it, which is perfect for his rabbit chasing hobby, and Harley has a very sparkly pink tutu. Both outfits were made by yours truly!
Harley was ready to go in her pretty tutu.
After the blessing of the animals each dog got a cross shaped cookie. Then the fun part came-the hunt was on! The idea was for each dog to scour for around ten eggs to take home. Each egg was stuffed with lots of yummy treats the Barkery carries including their sweet potato jerky!
"Let me at 'em!"
Once I showed Dobby that the colorful things had treats in them, he got into the game and tried to open each egg before I could pick them up.
It was a great day to enjoy what little bit of spring we've had so far. Everyone loved the dogs' costumes and the dogs loved meeting so many other pups.
