National Pancake Day!

In case you didn't know, today is national pancake day! Places like IHOP are giving away short stacks for humans but they don't allow dogs there :(. So to celebrate we whipped up some dog friendly pancakes. I tweaked a human recipe and this is what I came up with:

·    1 applesauce pouch(I used apple-cinnamon flavor)
·    1/2 cup milk
·    3/4 tablespoon vegetable oil
·    1/2tablespoon honey
·    3/4 cup all-purpose flour
·    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Combine the applesauce, milk, honey, and vegetable oil in a bowl and whisk. Next, whisk in the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Then, cook like you would a normal pancake.
From that to this:
They were really easy to make and Dobby gobbled them down!
"Can I have them already?"

He even licked the plate clean!
Happy National Pancake Day!

  4. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am that I missed National Pancake Day on the actual day, but I love me some pancakes so I will definitely still be celebrating it this year - just a little late as I had a new homemade pancake recipe I was planning on for this weekend. Waffles for me and the husband and pancakes for the pups! Win-win! I absolutely love your recipe and I am so glad that Doggy Dessert Chef shared it on Facebook so that I could stumble upon your blog. I'll be planning on starting to read your blog and I hope you consider stopping by mine sometime.
