Christmas Miracles Really Do Happen

Do you remember Patrick, the dog I made an adoption video for? Well over the weekend I received the most wonderful news. PATRICK WENT HOME FOR CHRISTMAS! Excuse the capitalizing but this is something that needs to be shouted from the rafters! There is hope even for a dog who waited 800 days in the Lexington Humane Society.

On behalf of Patrick and his new family, I would like to thank the dedication of volunteers at the Lexington Humane Society. They saw the potential this wonderful boy possessed. One volunteer in particular, Becky Johnson, took Patrick on daily car rides and visits to McDonalds to allow him to release some of his energy. Without their dedication, who knows where he would be.
Most importantly, thank you to the family who adopted our wonderful boy! He is already making himself at home, sleeping with his new parents, and welcoming guests into their home. You've made a wonderful decision and our boy surely won't disappoint with love and affection( he's had a lot of practice with the ladies at the shelter!).
Merry Christmas! Remember to give your pups some loving today. Also remember that if you plan to give a dog as a gift, you are making a lifetime commitment to the well-being of that dog. Adopt, don't shop and make good decisions involving the well being of your dog.
